How Furniture Spraying Works
Bryan, the founder of Revitalize, has more than 25 years of wood-finishing experience and uses that judgement to decide whether spraying is the right answer for a piece before any quote is prepared. The exact preparation and coating route depends on the substrate, its condition and how the furniture is used.
Photo Assessment & Written Quote
Send photos of each piece, including any damage, along with the colour or sheen you have in mind. Revitalize checks the material and condition, then prepares a written quote that sets out the pieces, preparation and finish covered.
Workshop or On-Site Route
Freestanding pieces can often be collected and finished in the Denton workshop. Fitted or very large items are assessed for on-site work with the surrounding area protected. The route is agreed for the particular piece.
Surface Preparation
Cleaning, abrasion, repairs and hardware removal are matched to the material and its condition. Doors and drawers are handled separately where the construction allows, so edges and returns can be prepared properly.
Primer & Sprayed Topcoat
Where primer is needed, it is selected for the substrate and existing finish rather than treated as one route for every surface. Furniture-grade coatings are then applied with sanding and curing time between stages where the system requires it.
Inspection, Reassembly & Return
Finished surfaces are checked before handover. Hardware is refitted, doors and drawers are realigned, and collected pieces are wrapped for return. Aftercare guidance is provided for the completed work.
