A kitchen respray is a professional process where your existing kitchen cabinet doors, drawer fronts, end panels, and plinths are cleaned, prepared, primed, and painted using specialist HVLP spray equipment. It is faster, cheaper, and far less disruptive than fitting a new kitchen.

We can respray virtually any rigid surface including MDF, solid wood, melamine-faced chipboard, laminate, veneer, UPVC, and previously painted surfaces.

No. While kitchens are our most popular service, we also respray bedroom wardrobes, UPVC windows and doors, conservatories, freestanding furniture, built-in cabinetry, and bespoke joinery. If it has a solid surface, we can almost certainly spray it.

Standard respray from £999 (up to 10 doors and drawer fronts, no vinyl wrap). Premium workshop respray from £1,500. Bryan confirms a fixed price from photos.

Kitchens with sound carcasses and stable doors are usually suitable. Peeling vinyl wrap has to be stripped in our workshop, so those kitchens go on the Premium route. Swollen, water-damaged or structurally damaged doors are a judgement call. Bryan checks photos before giving any quote. Send photos and Bryan will tell you which route fits.

Our preparation process involves cleaning and degreasing all surfaces with specialist solvent cleaners, abrading with fine-grade sanding pads or Scotch-Brite, filling chips and dents with two-part filler, masking all adjacent surfaces, and applying an adhesion-promoting primer. Preparation is the most important stage.

We use specialist furniture-grade coatings from leading manufacturers. These are not consumer paints — they are professional products formulated for spray application, offering superior adhesion, durability, and finish quality. Our topcoats are available in thousands of colours with matt, satin, semi-gloss, and high-gloss finishes.

Modern furniture coatings are much lower in VOCs (volatile organic compounds) than traditional paints, so odour is minimal. We ventilate the workspace during and after application. Any residual smell typically dissipates within 24–48 hours. If you have particular sensitivities, please let us know and we can take additional precautions.

Yes. We offer the full RAL and BS colour ranges — thousands of standard colours. We can also colour-match to any physical sample including paint swatches, fabric cuttings, tiles, wallpaper, or photographs. If you can show us the colour, we can match it.

It depends on the project. For kitchens, we generally spray doors in situ (on the cabinet carcasses) after thorough masking. For freestanding furniture, pieces are often collected and sprayed in our workshop for an optimal result. We will discuss the best approach during your consultation.

After the first 30 days of curing, clean your resprayed surfaces with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, and harsh chemicals such as bleach or white spirit. For everyday cleaning, a damp microfibre cloth is ideal.

Your kitchen can be used carefully immediately after we finish. However, the paint reaches full hardness after approximately 30 days. During this curing period, we recommend being gentle with doors and drawers — avoid slamming them or placing heavy objects against freshly sprayed surfaces.

No. Our coatings are formulated with UV stabilisers that prevent yellowing, even on white and light-coloured finishes. Unlike traditional oil-based paints which can yellow significantly over time, our modern coatings maintain their true colour for years.
